Are you thinking of putting your home on the market in the Spring? If so, here are a few things to consider to make sure your home has curb appeal. Think about your landscaping. Is it at least average for the neighborhood? If it is not, buy a few bushes and plant them. Do not put in trees. Mature trees are expensive and you probably will not get back your investment. Immature trees will not really add much to the appearance value of the home. If you have an area for flowers, buy mature colorful annuals and plant them. They will add a splash of vibrancy and help create a nice first impression for buyers. Do not buy bulbs and seeds because they will not mature fast enough.
Make sure that your lawn has a fresh, even cut. It should be well watered and free of brown spots. Fertilize in enough time for it to be effective. Always rake up loose leaves and grass cuttings.
