One of the hardest parts of blogging is learning to write in a way that is appropriate to the medium. One must learn how to write in such a way that is informal and conversational. Speak from your heart as much from your head. One of the best ways to learn how to blog is by reading those written by others. This is helpful in finding your own style of how you wish to do your blog. First, you must decide who you want your audience to be. Once you have established that, try to make your writing style and content be what would appeal to that particular group of individuals.
When you have completed your blog be sure and use spell check. Even though you are writing in an informal style, you are still writing for business purposes. Pay attention to using proper grammar, as well. When working on your blog think about proper formatting. Spacing between sentences should be single not double. Only double space between paragraphs and make sure they are aligned to the left. This will help make the blog much more readable. Also, stick with a font that everyone can read. A font size of 10-12 should meet most everyone's needs.
Try to write original material. Don't copy and paste what others have written. This won't really convey to your readers or potential clients a sense of who you are. Writing your own original content is one of the best ways to really declare your own personal perspective. Get creative!

Moving can be hectic and stressful. Here are a few simple tips on how to stay organized and make things easier for you and your family,
1. Before you start packing, host a garage sale and get rid of any unwanted items.
2. Start packing in one room and finish before moving on to the next.
3. Use good, sturdy boxes. Pack things carefully,
4. You can use sheets, blankets, etc. to seperate your pictures and fragile itmes.
5. Be sure and pack plates and glass objects vertically, not stacked up or flat.
6. When the movers arrive be sure to point out where your fragile things are. They should be able to tell you if you have them packed in a sturdy enough container.

Spring is just around the corner....

Are you thinking of putting your home on the market in the Spring? If so, here are a few things to consider to make sure your home has curb appeal. Think about your landscaping. Is it at least average for the neighborhood? If it is not, buy a few bushes and plant them. Do not put in trees. Mature trees are expensive and you probably will not get back your investment. Immature trees will not really add much to the appearance value of the home. If you have an area for flowers, buy mature colorful annuals and plant them. They will add a splash of vibrancy and help create a nice first impression for buyers. Do not buy bulbs and seeds because they will not mature fast enough.
Make sure that your lawn has a fresh, even cut. It should be well watered and free of brown spots. Fertilize in enough time for it to be effective. Always rake up loose leaves and grass cuttings.
